Move-In & Move-Out

Move‑In & Move‑Out
Cleaning

Detailed cleaning for homes, apartments, condominiums, and rental units before move-in or after move-out, planned around the property’s condition, access, and handoff timeline.

Property transitions this service may fit

Designed for residents, owners, landlords, real estate professionals, and property teams preparing a home or rental for its next handoff.

  • Residents moving into a new home

A detailed clean before belongings are fully moved in, based on the property’s condition and confirmed scope.

  • Residents moving out

Cleaning after personal belongings are removed, helping prepare the property for inspection, closing, or handoff.

  • Landlords and rental turnovers

Unit cleaning between residents to help prepare the property for showing or re-occupancy.

  • Home sellers and buyers

Cleaning tied to listing, closing, possession, or a new owner’s move-in timeline.

  • Real estate and leasing professionals

Properties that need a clean, presentable handoff before a showing, walkthrough, closing, or occupancy.

  • Property managers coordinating unit turns

Coordinated cleaning for one or more vacant or mostly cleared units, depending on the confirmed scope and scheduling.

Areas we can build into the service plan

  • Kitchens and appliance exteriors

Cleaning for counters, sinks, appliance exteriors, and accessible kitchen surfaces based on the confirmed scope.

  • Bathrooms

Cleaning for fixtures, counters, mirrors, tile, and floors to support a clean property handoff.

  • Living areas and bedrooms

Cleaning for accessible surfaces, fixtures, and floors throughout the living spaces.

  • Cabinet fronts, doors, and fixtures

Cleaning for accessible cabinet exteriors, doors, frames, and fixtures when included in the plan.

  • Floors, baseboards, and high-touch surfaces

Vacuuming, mopping, and detailing accessible floors, baseboards, and frequently handled surfaces throughout the property.

The estimate confirms the rooms, property condition, level of detail, access arrangements, and any requests that need separate review before service begins.

Service options and scope boundaries

Every move is different. The estimate identifies the detailed cleaning plan, any requests requiring separate review, and work that falls outside the cleaning scope.

Move-in and move-out cleaning is best suited to empty or mostly cleared properties. Furnished, occupied, or heavily cluttered spaces require separate review.

Requests that may need separate review

Depending on the property, some requests may require separate pricing, scheduling, or confirmation and may not be available for every service plan.

  • Interior oven, refrigerator, or other appliance cleaning
  • Inside cabinets, drawers, shelves, and closets
  • Interior windows and detailed glass cleaning
  • Carpet extraction or deeper carpet treatment
  • Wall spot-cleaning, adhesive residue, and scuff removal
  • Recent renovation or construction residue, which may require the Post-Construction & Post-Remodel Cleaning service
  • Same-day or short-notice scheduling
  • Furnished, occupied, or heavily cluttered properties

Outside standard move-in and move-out cleaning scope

Move-in and move-out cleaning does not include moving, packing, hauling, repairs, or property-maintenance services.

  • Packing, unpacking, or organizing personal belongings
  • Moving furniture, appliances, boxes, or household items
  • Furniture, appliance, bulk-item, or off-site waste hauling
  • Wall repairs, patching, painting, or fixture replacement
  • Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, or hardware repairs
  • Active construction work or construction-debris removal
  • Biohazard, hazardous-material, mold, chemical-spill, or specialist remediation
  • Pest control
  • Landscaping, pressure washing, exterior-building work, or garage cleanouts

How a move-in or move-out clean is planned

  1. Property condition and handoff review

We review the property type, its current condition, the move or handoff date, and whether the space will be empty or mostly cleared.

  2. Scope and access confirmation

We confirm the rooms, expected level of detail, requests requiring separate review, access arrangements, and whether a walkthrough is needed before preparing the estimate.

  3. Schedule around the transition

Once the scope and access are confirmed, cleaning is scheduled around the move-in, move-out, closing, lease, or turnover timeline.

Scheduling depends on property readiness, access, the confirmed scope, and the time available before the handoff.
