Service options and scope boundaries

Every rental operates differently. The estimate identifies the routine turnover-cleaning plan, any host-specific requests requiring separate review, and responsibilities that remain outside the cleaning scope.

Routine turnover cleaning focuses on the agreed property reset. Linen service, supply restocking, back-to-back scheduling, exterior areas, and other host-specific requests require separate review and may not be available for every property.

Requests that may need separate review

Depending on the property and turnover schedule, some requests may require separate pricing, scheduling, supplies, or confirmation.

  • Linen changes and bed-making with owner-provided linens
  • On-site laundry
  • Restocking owner-provided guest supplies and consumables
  • Interior windows and detailed glass cleaning
  • Carpet extraction or deeper carpet treatment
  • Back-to-back or short-notice turnaround scheduling
  • Patios, balconies, or shared amenity areas

Outside standard turnover-cleaning scope

Turnover cleaning does not include hosting, reservation management, property maintenance, hauling, or responsibility for guest access and belongings.

  • Guest communication, check-in, check-out, or reservation management
  • Booking-calendar, listing-platform, or pricing management
  • Key exchange, lockbox management, or responsibility for guest access
  • Purchasing, storing, or managing guest supplies and property inventory
  • Removing, storing, or disposing of guest belongings or lost-and-found items
  • Furniture, appliance, bulk-item, or off-site waste hauling
  • Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, fixture, or hardware repairs
  • Painting, patching, construction, renovation, or other maintenance work
  • Biohazard, hazardous-material, mold, chemical-spill, or specialist remediation
  • Pest control
  • Pool, hot-tub, landscaping, pressure-washing, or exterior-building maintenance

How a turnover service plan is developed

  1. Property and turnover review

We review the rental, its size and layout, the typical turnover window, and the access arrangements available between guests.

  2. Scope and access confirmation

We confirm the areas and reset expectations, identify requests needing separate review, and determine whether a walkthrough is needed before the estimate is prepared.

  3. Scheduling around turnover windows

Once the scope and access arrangements are confirmed, cleaning is scheduled around the agreed check-out and check-in window.

Turnaround availability depends on the booking schedule, property access, the confirmed scope, and the amount of time available between guests.
